On September 30, 1977, the Blueridge Lions Club of Missouri City, was chartered by the Sugar Land Lions Club, with Lion Dee Martini, serving as Guiding Lion. The club began with nineteen charter members.

Members of Blueridge are dedicated to seeking and doing things that foster the principles of Lionism, as suggested by our motto – “We Serve.”
